Hi everyone!
I've done a lot in this past month. The first noteworthy thing was going to an HDU concert a couple of weeks ago. I'd never heard them before but I'm always open to new opportunities. The girl that opened for them was excellent. Pity I don't know who she was because I'd buy her CD. HDU were excellent as long as their vocalist wasn't singing :S. Their opening song was instrumental only and really got my hopes up!
Secondly I've joined the green party and even gone to a meeting. on second thoughts that was actually first: it was the day before that concert. I even got to have a nice conversation with a politician!
I spent last week at work not testing cellphone games but writing a program! I'm not making anything to run on a cellphone like the rest of the company is but an interface between our database and the one at Telecom. It's in Java because everyone in the office knows it. I'd rather write in Vala but that would require the company to switch to Linux.....
Up to the present and today I bought a new digital camera and a protective case to stop me from breaking the screen on this one too. It's a Fujifilm A900. Funny: Samsung A900 is something completely different!
Next weekend I'm going to see my parents and put Linux on my sister's laptop. She's gotten used to it because it's on Dad's machine and if she uses that to browse the internet she doesn't have to unplug anything.
The weekend after I expect to get a yellow belt in seido juku karate.
Also: I liked the Iron Man movie. I laughed quite a bit watching it. :)

  • Mood: Optimism
  • Listening to: Ministry of Sound 2008 Annual
  • Playing: no cellphone games hell yeah!
  • Drinking: Apple and blackcurrant juice

I like linux, except that I can\'t use photoshop. So much better than vista *throws laptop against wall* If only my xp laptop hadn\'t got stolen I wouldn\'t have to deal with vista\'s bs. I\'m still debating on wiping it and installing xp on it. Congrats on finally getting a new camera!
Well, you can't use photoshop on Linux, but you can use Gimp. It's a bit different to use, but unless you really need to use 64 bit cymk (which you'd lose by saving as jpeg anyway) it does all the same things.
i don't care for gimp =/
